This site details the construction of my Martin & Walker Technic 550 Spyder; a replica of the famous Porsche 550 Spyder as driven by James Dean. Unfortunately at the moment my vehicle doesn't look like the one in the photo above!

The Technic 550 Spyder is a true mid engined replica of the original car. It features a purpose made chassis and suspension system.

The main source of mechanical components is the VW Beetle 1302s although you can use other Porsche or Alfa Romeo engines if you wish.
