Transaxle side cover off When I tried to put the ring gear back in it wouldn't fit! The reverse idler gear (bottom left) was in the way...very strange. On further inspection the circlip that holds the bearing in place had come off and was just hanging on the shaft waiting to come adrift and cause untold damage!
